1) Does intercultural communication differ from intracultural communication?
In the seminar we will do concrete analysis of intercultural interactions so as to answer the question. Students will be provided with excerpts.

Pragmatics is an utterance-centered inquiry. Recently there have been attempts to combine pragmatics and discourse analysis. We seek answer to the question whether this attempt can be successful or not.
