第七届广外应用语言学论坛征文通知

 

第七届广外应用语言学论坛将于2023年12月2-3日在广东外语外贸大学北校区举办。本次论坛由广东外语外贸大学外国语言学及应用语言学研究中心（教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地）、桂诗春语言高等研究院联合主办。

1. 会议主题

本届论坛的主题为“语言、计算与人工智能”，议题包括但不限于：

（1）计量与计算语言学；

（2）语料库语言学；

（3）自然语言处理与人工智能；

（4）数据驱动语言学；

（5）第二语言研究；

（6）社会及公共话语研究；

（7）语言本体研究。

也欢迎其他有关语言学及应用语言学方面的研究投稿。

2. 论坛形式

本次会议拟设立以下论坛形式：

1）主旨报告。大会拟邀请国内外“语言、计算与人工智能”相关领域的专家做主旨报告。

2）专题论坛。每个专题由一名负责人组织，参加人员为3-5名同领域的研究者，集中围绕某一研究方向进行系列报告。请有意组织专题论坛的老师在2023年9月15日前把专题题目、摘要和参加人员名单提交到会务组邮箱。

3）分组报告。每位与会代表进行20分钟的论文宣读与交流。

3. 论文要求

1）会议接收未在国内外学术刊物上公开发表过的原创性论文摘要。

2）会议接收中文摘要（300-500字），统一用word文档格式。具体格式要求请参照论文摘要模板（见附件）。

3）请在摘要中详细标明作者姓名、所属单位、电子邮箱、联系电话等信息。 

4. 论文摘要提交和接收程序

1）访问https://clal.gdufs.edu.cn/zxgz/ggtz.htm或直接在本网页下方下载摘要模板（附件）。

2）请有意参会者在2023年9月15日前将论文摘要（按模板格式撰写）提交到会务组邮箱。

3）组委会将组织专家对论文摘要进行评审，决定录用名单，于2023年10月15日前以邮件方式正式发放会议通知。

5. 会议费用：

会务费1000元（研究生500元），报到时当场交纳。食宿费及交通费自理。

The 7^th GDUFS Forum on Applied Linguistics

Call for Papers

      

The 7^th GDUFS Forum on Applied Linguistics (the forum for short) will be held on December 2-3, 2023 by the Center for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), Guangzhou, P. R. China. The forum invites proposals of about 300 English words or 500 Chinese characters each for panels and presentations that address issues in all areas of linguistics and applied linguistics, such as Phonetics, Phonology, Lexicography, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics, Discourse, Semiotics, Quantitative Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, Psycholinguistics, Neurolinguistics, (Foreign) Language Teaching, Language Testing, Second Language Acquisition/Development, Teacher Education, Language Philosophy, Translation, etc., with approaches of description, corpus, mathematics and computation, Brain Imaging, among others.

 

The theme of the 7^th forum is “Language, Computation, and Artificial Intelligence". We will invite distinguished scholars in Quantitative/Computational Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, and Artificial Intelligence from across the world for keynote speeches.

 

Individual presentations will be allocated 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion. Proposals for panels should include a chair and a number of thematically-related papers, each of which should be 20 minutes in length, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.

      

All submissions, either English or Chinese or both, should be sent to  alforum2023@163.com, with a title, an abstract, presenters’ names, affiliation(s), address(es), email, and phone number before September 15, 2023. Acceptance of proposal will be notified by email in mid October, 2023. Paper presentation may be either in English or in Chinese.
